About

Hi, I am Maria. I have been involved in the youth work sector since 2016, having embarked on an exceptional journey within local government and the non-for-profit subsectors. Working with young people has been a remarkable experience, as they have imparted valuable lessons to me, and hopefully, I have contributed significantly to their lives. Additionally, I ventured into the study of social policy, but an excellent opportunity presented itself with the Switch to Social Work Program.
With my chance to study child and family social work, I became aware of the fact I am diagnosed with AuDHD. The diagnosis came with the later revelation that I can develop a lived experience practice as part of my professional profile as a venture. So I thought to document my process in learning that in my blog.
Anyhow…I also got a consulting business
Because of my extensive experience working in various sectors within the youth and community field, as well as engaging in grassroots advocacy work, and briefly studying social policy before transitioning to social work, I have acquired substantial knowledge on the topics discussed. If you are interested in coordinating a community project, establishing a grassroots organization, or any other related initiative, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
